Privacy Policy

Effective date: 9/22/2026 Last updated: 9/22/2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Xpertegic Inc. (“Xpertegic,” “Xperegic Partners,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares personal information through xpertegic.com and related pages, newsletters, and podcast materials (together, the “Site”).

It does not cover information we receive in the course of a client engagement. That information is governed by the agreement and confidentiality terms we sign with each client.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

When you submit a form on the Site, such as a Charter Program pre-application, a contact request, or a signup for the Deal Alchemist Dispatch, we collect what you enter. Depending on the form, that can include:

  • Your name, work email address, firm, and title
  • Information about your fund, such as fund number and committed capital range
  • A description of what you are working on
  • How you first heard about us

Please do not include confidential deal information or information about third parties in a form. We will ask for what we need, under a confidentiality agreement, if a conversation goes further.

When you email us, we keep the email and your contact details.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, we and the service providers listed below collect certain information automatically, including:

  • Pages you visit, how long you stay, and the page that referred you
  • Your browser, device type, and approximate location derived from your IP address
  • Campaign information contained in the link you arrived on, such as the source and campaign name (these are called UTM parameters)

We collect this through cookies, similar browser storage, and tags placed on the Site. See section 5.

Information from other sources

We may receive information about you from:

  • LinkedIn, in aggregated form, about how our ads perform
  • People who refer you to us
  • Publicly available professional sources, such as your firm’s website or your public professional profile, when we research firms we may work with

2. How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • Review Charter Program pre-applications and respond to inquiries
  • Send you the newsletter or other communications you asked for
  • Understand how visitors find and use the Site, and improve it
  • Measure whether our advertising is working, and show our ads on LinkedIn to people who have visited the Site
  • Keep the Site secure and prevent spam and abuse
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use

We do not use your information to make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you. Every pre-application is reviewed by a person.

3. How we share information

We do not sell personal information for money.

We share personal information with service providers that help us run the Site and our business. They may use it only to provide services to us. These include:

  • Website hosting and our website platform (WordPress and Elementor), which store form submissions
  • Make.com, which transfers form submissions into our project management system
  • Monday.com, where we track pre-applications
  • Google (Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager), for Site analytics
  • LinkedIn, for advertising measurement and retargeting
  • HubSpot, our customer relationship management system
  • Google Workspace, which we use for email
  • Kit, which manages our newsletter list and sends the Deal Alchemist Dispatch

We may also share information:

  • With our professional advisers, such as lawyers and accountants, under a duty of confidentiality
  • If required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect our rights, our users, or the public
  • As part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business, in which case the recipient will be bound to handle your information consistently with this policy

4. Advertising and analytics

We use the LinkedIn Insight Tag on the Site. It lets LinkedIn report to us, in aggregate, how people who saw or clicked our ads used the Site, and it lets us show our ads on LinkedIn to people who have visited the Site. LinkedIn does not give us your identity through this tag. LinkedIn’s use of this information is governed by the LinkedIn Privacy Policy.

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site. Google’s use of this information is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy.

Some states treat showing ads based on your visits to other sites as “targeted advertising.” You can limit it using the choices in section 6.

6. Your choices

  • Cookies. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies and local storage. Blocking some cookies may affect how the Site works.
  • Google Analytics. You can opt out using Google’s browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
  • LinkedIn ads. You can control how LinkedIn uses information to show you ads in your LinkedIn account under Settings, then Advertising data.
  • Email. Every newsletter and marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also email us at info@xpertegic.com.
  • Browser signals. The Site does not currently respond automatically to “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control signals. If you want to opt out of retargeting, use the LinkedIn setting above or contact us, and we will honor the request.

7. Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

  • Tell you what personal information we hold about you
  • Correct information that is wrong
  • Delete your information, subject to any legal obligation we have to keep it
  • Stop sending you marketing communications

Residents of some states have additional rights under their state’s law. Where those laws apply to us, we will honor those rights as the law requires.

To make a request, email info@xpertegic.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we will respond within 45 days. If we decline a request, we will tell you why, and you may reply to ask us to reconsider.

We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.

8. How long we keep information

  • Pre-applications and inquiries: for as long as needed to evaluate and pursue a potential relationship, and generally no longer than three years after our last contact, unless you become a client
  • Deal Alchemist Dispatch subscriptions: until you unsubscribe, after which we keep a record of the unsubscribe so we do not email you again
  • Analytics data: according to the retention settings of the analytics provider, which we set to the shortest period that meets our needs

We may keep information longer where the law requires it.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your information has been compromised, contact us at info@xpertegic.com.

10. Children

The Site is intended for business professionals. It is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Where information is processed

We are based in the United States, and our service providers process information in the United States. If you visit from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

The Site links to third-party sites, such as LinkedIn and podcast platforms. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Their own privacy policies govern your use of them.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top. If a change is material, we will give reasonable notice on the Site before it takes effect.
