Roberto brings nearly three decades of global leadership experience across the beauty, consumer packaged goods, wellness, personal care, and OTC sectors. Throughout his career, he has built and expanded businesses across more than 50 countries, helping organizations accelerate growth through international expansion, go-to-market execution, portfolio optimization, and business transformation.
His role aligns with Xpertegic’s embedded, unified approach to helping private equity firms and portfolio companies create value through acquisition and growth. While many companies focus heavily on transaction execution, they often face challenges converting strategic opportunities into sustainable commercial results. His accomplishments include scaling global sales by 60 times, capturing 76.8% market share in Brazil, helping grow South American market share to 55%, and delivering 225% revenue growth and 248% EBITDA growth while leading commercial operations across Latin America. He also founded and successfully exited a private equity-backed venture, providing firsthand experience creating value for investors and management teams.
At Xpertegic, Roberto will support business development initiatives with private equity firms while helping portfolio companies identify and execute strategic organic growth opportunities. His experience spans global retail partnerships, distributor network development, omnichannel go-to-market strategy, international market expansion, commercial transformation, and operational turnarounds.
In addition, Roberto’s experience helping brands move from strategy to shelf provides portfolio companies with practical guidance on scaling products, entering new markets, and strengthening commercial performance across major retail channels.
He holds a Master of Science in International Business with a concentration in Corporate Management and Administration, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Universidad EAFIT.
Outside of his professional work, Roberto serves as President and Co-Chair of the Texas Chapter of the Procter & Gamble Alumni Network, where he supports business development, mentorship, and philanthropic initiatives.
